What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a completely natural state that we experience frequently: when we are daydreaming, immersed in a book, captivated by a film, engrossed in a video game, or when we're doing familiar activities on 'automatic pilot' such as driving. Hypnosis is a state of focused attention, deeper awareness, and although it's not being asleep, most clients feel in relaxed, calm, and pleasant state during the sessions. Many athletes use it to train their bodies and mind to perform at their absolute best, visualising what they need to do to win, so they not only train hard, but they also think and act as champions.

Will I lose control under hypnosis?

Not at all. This is one of the biggest misconceptions and a complete myth! Hypnosis is not mind control. It is a state of focused attention and deeper awareness, so clients are in control all the time. They hear everything I say, interact with me, and they could even stop the session if they wanted to.

Will I say or do things I don't want to in hypnosis?

Absolutely not. This is another myth. Clients are in control all the time. They always know who and where they are, and nobody can make them say or do anything against their free will or values. It's not about the hypnotherapist doing something to the client. It's about the client understanding their mind and feeling liberated and empowered.

Can I be stuck in hypnosis?

Another common misconception. No, you cannot be stuck in hypnosis, simply because you are not going anywhere, and you are always in control. Hypnosis will help you to understand what's holding you back, and I will help you to free yourself quickly and permanently so you can have the life you want.

What if I go back an unpleasant memory?

This is a common apprehension. Even if this happens, you will not relive any events, you will only review your interpretation of them, in the safe, secure, and supporting place that I create in my sessions. I will answer any questions/concerns during the pre-session (please see details in solutions programmes).

What is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)?

It’s a multi-award method that offers unparalleled results, no matter how long clients have been struggling with their issues. RTT is rooted in neuroscience and uses solutions-focused techniques from Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, psychology, and NLP. It is very powerful as it deals with the underlying cause of the symptoms, quickly and permanently. Please see success stories or contact me for more information.

What is the difference between hypnosis and RTT? Why do you use RTT?

Hypnosis is only one of the tools used in RTT. I studied both and RTT is the most successful and powerful method I have ever seen and experienced myself, which is why I decided to train as an RTT Hypnotherapist.

Why don't you work by session like other coaches/therapists?

I provide tailored solutions programmes designed from my clients' successful experiences, using both powerful tools on mindset and CBT and hypnotherapy/RTT. Hypnotherapy allows us to get to the root cause of any issues such as fear of failing, self-defeating patterns, anxiety, low-confidence, low self-worth, imposter syndrome... The focus of the 9-week and 12-week programmes is a personalised solution programme to end struggles that have sometimes been pestering professionals for decades. Clients benefit from extremely effective Hypnosis/ RTT, combined with personalised coaching/training on mindset and CBT tools, so they are able to reinforce positive results and get new very helpful skills for life. Working with programmes also offer clients substantial savings.

Which programme should I take?

That will be your choice and that depends on your situation. Most people like testing the 9-week programme and as they experience great results, they upgrade later. If we find that we are a good fit after our discovery call, you will be completely free to pick the programme that suits you best.

Do you work on other issues (weight management, anxiety, digestive issues etc.)?

Yes I do. Although I specialise in fear of failing, chronic self-doubt, and self-defeating patterns, low confidence, low self-esteem and imposter syndrome, many clients ask me to help with such side-effects, in particular weight management, digestive issues and anxiety. Some ask me to help their children with fear of exams, and I very much enjoy this work too.
